Taking your handgun apart and cleaning it can be an intimidating process! The Basic Pistol Cleaning class is designed to educate students on field stripping and cleaning a modern semi-automatic firearm, reassembly, tips for easy manipulation, performing function checks, appropriate cleaning products, and maintenance schedules. Join Bristlecone’s Gunsmiths as they give you one-on-one expert advice on how to care for and maintain your firearm to ensure optimal performance! Upon completion of the class, you’ll have a new useful skill set and a clean gun!
**NO ammunition allowed in the classroom!** Students must go to the range counter prior to the class to have the firearm(s) cleared by Bristlecone staff.
Required equipment:
- Modern defensive handgun manufactured within the past 20 years that’s ready to be cleaned (limit 2/person)
- NO revolvers or .22cal
- 1 empty magazine
- Comprehensive cleaning kit included in the price of the class
A minimum of 3 students is required to run the class or it may be canceled/rescheduled.
