Bristlecone Hosts Venturing Crew Meeting, May 11
Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 years of age OR 13 years of age and have completed the eighth grade and under 21 years of age. Venturing’s purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults, with an emphasis in adventure, leadership, personal growth, and service.
This month, Bristlecone Shooting, Training, and Retail Center is excited to be hosting a Boy Scout Venturing Crew Meeting on May 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bristlecone is the Charter organization for Crew #1911, which focuses on the shooting sports. Crew 1911 meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 pm. Each meeting consists of some in in the classroom and then some time in the live fire range.
