The Rifle Reloading Fundamentals class is designed to introduce the basics of reloading rifle ammunition from cleaning and preparing the casings to actually loading the rounds! Join our reloading expert, Lee Royse, as he covers topics like selection of materials, powders, equipment, and case cleaning materials. We have equipment students will get to use during the class and all materials will be provided. Students will load .223 Rem and may bring their own .223 caliber rifle to fire the loaded cartridges. At the end of the class, students will have a basic understanding of reloading and how to take it to the next step at home! If you’ve never reloaded before, this is the class for you.
Required equipment:
- .223/5.56 caliber rifle (not required but recommended)
- Hearing and eye protection
- Range appropriate clothing (crew neck shirt and closed toe shoes)
A minimum of 3 students is required to run the class or it may be canceled/rescheduled.
