Gun Cleaning Lessons with our Gunsmith
A clean and well-maintained firearm is a reliable firearm. Learn how to do things the right way with a private session with our Gunsmith. Class Spotlight: Concealed Carry Refresher Course
If you have a permit that needs to be renewed, the rules are changing effective 7/1/2025. But, don’t worry! We’ve got our Concealed Carry Refresher Class up and running on our schedule so that your experience is a seamless as possible. Here is what you can expect:
The Concealed Carry REFRESHER course is 2 hours in total. This includes 1 hour of range time and 1 hour of classroom time. Successful completion of both a written and shooting test will be required in order to receive your certificate at the completion of the class.
Bristlecone’s Concealed Carry Refresher course will offer a review of firearm safety rules, safe and mandated storage options, fundamentals of handgun shooting, state and Federal laws, incident aftermath, and concealed carry considerations. You will also be provided with (but will not be discussed in this class) additional information that includes types of handguns that are most efficient for concealed carry, how to carry handguns safely and securely, and how to utilize them appropriately during a self-defense situation.
Required equipment:
– Defensive handgun (modern striker-fired preferred)
– 2 magazines with 10 round or greater capacity (If your magazine holds less than 10 rounds, bring additional magazines for 20 rounds total)
– If you are using a revolver, bring sufficient speed loaders for 20 rounds
– A minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition (100 rounds may be used if time allows)
– Hearing and eye protection
– Range appropriate clothing (crew neck shirt and closed-toe shoes)
– If you don’t already have the recommended equipment, we offer rentals at the facility for a discounted price! Ammunition must be purchased from the facility if you require a handgun rental.
