Range and Training

It’s all about “spooky” recreational shooting at Bristlecone in October!  We’ve got fun shoots and competitions for participants of all levels this month.  All of these events require pre-registration.  Spots are limited so that we can maintain appropriate social distancing, so don’t wait!  Sign up now and make sure you’re part of the fun in October.

 

ReACT (Recurrent Armed Combat Training) Shoot House  Zombie-fest

Our Shoot House is typically used for scenario-based training with Simmunitions modified firearms and ammunition.  But this month it’s been infested with Zombies!  Put your training to the test and battle your way through the shoot house environment, where our instructors and role-players are zombie-fied.  Simmunition firearms and ammunition provided and included in the price.  Read more and register here.

3-Gun Haunt

Come out and have some fun with all three firearms platforms on our haunted tactical range.  Beginners welcome.  You’ll be running through a modified and guided set of 3-gun stages on our Halloween-themed range.  Rental handguns, shotguns and rifles as well as ammunition are included in the price of admission.  Early sessions are “fun shoots”, last session is a competitive shoot.  Also, look for a special youth session on the calendar. ‘Rona Shoot

Sick of COVID?  So are we.  Fight back by coming in and slinging some lead for a good cause.  Our special “virus” targets are available all month for purchase (proceeds go to First Responders), but if you sign up for one of the ‘Rona Shoot events at the end of October, you’ll be participating in a competitive course of fire with targets set at 5, 12 and 19 yards.  Prizes awareded at the end of the night.  Great for all ages (10 and up).  Read more and register here. 

Rattling the Bones

*Must be holster qualified at Bristlecone to register and participate.  Hosted by Kevin McDonald, our Lunchtime Locked & Loaded and Tactical Pistol instructor.  Join us for a downrange, move and shoot adventure with a spooky theme.  Competitive stage design, black lights and more!  Read more and register here.

Glock Matches are Back!

We’ve been missing all of our Glock-fanatic competitive shooters.  Now that we’ve developed a socially responsible way to run these matches, they are back on the calendar!  10/14, 10/28 and 11/11.  Sign up here.  For those of you that aren’t familiar with this type of competition, Glock matches (sponsored by GSSF – Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) are a great place to start if you’re looking to enter the world of competitive shooting.  All courses of fire are run from the shooting booth.  You have to be shooting a Glock, but we have plenty to rent if you don’t have your own.  You can check out a lot more details on the GSSF website here.

Bowling Pin Matches are Back!

We’ve ALSO been missing our bowling pin Monday night crew!  Again, now that we have a socially responsible way to run these regular shoots, they are back on the schedule EVERY OTHER MONDAY.  Make sure you’re signing up in advance by calling 303.985.0989 to secure your spot.  AND… check out our special Glow in the Dark Halloween week Bowling Pin Shoot on 10/26.

 

Membership

Gunsmith

October is Glocktober in our Gunsmith Shop.  To support one of our favorite manufacturers this month, our Gunsmiths are offering a $20 sight installation on Glocks  when the sights are purchased at Bristlecone. This offer is good 10/12 – 10/17 or while supplies last.  All you need to do is bring the proof of purchase for your sights to show the Gunsmith.
