Bristlecone Fundamentals of Concealed Carry Part I of II

**This is a 2 part class, part I is 11/16 and part II is 11/17. You must take both parts to complete the course.
6 Hours: $150. This course exceeds Colorado’s requirements for a concealed handgun permit and is designed to educate the students on which handguns are best for concealed carry, how to carry them safely and securely, and how to deploy them efficiently in the context of a Dynamic Critical Incident. This course introduces shooters to the core basics of the Defensive Shooting Program, as well as aspects of handgun ownership and other basic information geared toward the handgun owner. Based on science, logic and reasoning this conceptual course will cover basic pistol handling, holster selection, drawing from a holster, alternative force options and interacting with law enforcement and the aftermath of an incident. Holster portion is recommended but not required. Skills learned in the classroom will be reinforced in the live fire range time.
- Defensive Handgun (modern striker fire preferred)
- 2 magazines
- Appropriate strong side holster
- 100-150 Rounds of ammunition
- Sturdy belt
- Hearing and Eye protection
- Range appropriate clothing (No shorts or open toed shoes)
**Equipment rental package available for $10. This includes a handgun, magazines and holster only. Minimum number of students (3) required to run the class or it may be canceled/ rescheduled.
