The Bristlecone Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces you to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, you will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare you for participation in other Bristlecone courses. After completing this course, you will have fulfilled the Colorado requirements to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit.

Firearms and ammunition are made available at an additional cost for students that are not using their own during the class.
