Lakewood, CO – After a vote by the Lakewood Planning Commission in June, locally owned Bristlecone Shooting, Training & Retail Center was awarded a Special Use Permit. The decision was unanimous and came after a review of Bristlecone’s application and Neighborhood Meeting held in late March.

The permit will allow Bristlecone to retrofit the existing building at 12105 W. Cedar Drive in Lakewood (zoned M-E-U, which allows for the operation of an indoor entertainment facility with a Special Use Permit) to include a 14-lane indoor shooting range, 3,700 square feet of retail, 2 training classrooms, a Member’s Lounge, gunsmith shop, self-service café and various other additions. Construction is scheduled to begin in September.

Bristlecone Shooting, Training & Retail Center plans to be open to the public in early 2015. They will be a public indoor range, with a wide variety of membership options.
